A notable Midtown Manhattan penthouse, recognized from its appearance in the film 'The Wolf of Wall Street,' has been relisted for sale. This corner unit at The Milan on East 55th Street served as Jordan Belfort's "starter" apartment in the movie.
The approximately 2,700-square-foot residence offers three bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and two terraces with open views of the skyline and the East River. One terrace notably features in a scene where Belfort's associates confront Nicholas the Butler.
Owned by businessman Bert E. Brodsky since 2015, who acquired it for approximately $4.5 million, the apartment has primarily been used as a pied-à-terre. Brodsky reportedly allowed filming on the premises.
The Milan building itself has a growing on-screen resume, with the penthouse also appearing in 'The Good Wife' and 'Blue Bloods,' and the building's exterior used in 'Gossip Girl.'
Initially listed in 2024 for $6.95 million and later withdrawn in December 2025, the penthouse is now seeking just under $5 million. It is represented by brokers from The Fabrikant Bond Team at Compass.
