14 Sep
Summary
- WME's headquarters transformed into a collaborative hub.
- New spaces include a restaurant, cafe, and listening lounge.
- Art collection curated to match WME's creative talent.
WME's new Beverly Hills headquarters is designed to be a dynamic center for collaboration, rejecting work-from-home models for an in-person approach.
Co-chairmen Richard Weitz and Christian Muirhead prioritized renovating the aging offices to enhance face-to-face interactions. Global design firm Gensler led the transformation, replacing sterile aesthetics with organic materials and human-centric spaces.
The renovated headquarters now includes a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, 1898, and a cafe, functioning as a town square. A state-of-the-art listening lounge and the Chaplin Theater provide specialized creative environments for musicians and filmmakers.
Emphasis was placed on functionality, creating 'town halls' on each floor with improved pantries as central meeting points. Nearly 400 original artworks from Creative Arts Partners enhance the office spaces, reflecting the creativity of WME's talent.
