Arts Center Theatre Presents Magical Wonka Journey

The Arts Center Theatre Children's Summer Program recently concluded with a vibrant performance of Roald Dahl's 'Willy Wonka Kids.' Talented young actors took the stage on Saturday, August 1, in performances held at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Directed by Jodi Palmieri, the musical adaptation captivated audiences with its magical surprises and unforgettable songs.

This production marked the second of two major summer theatre workshops. Young performers spent two weeks immersed in acting, singing, and theatrical production, culminating in public showcases. The program emphasized building confidence, teamwork, and creative storytelling, providing a transformative experience for each child. The 'Every Child Deserves Art' initiative, supported by community donors, ensured all participants could engage in the arts without cost.
