Summary
- Willie Nelson's Outlaw Musical Festival is scaled back this year with 12 shows.
- Bob Dylan is not participating in Willie Nelson's tour this summer.
- Nelson, 92, is releasing a new album, Dream Chaser, on May 29.

Willie Nelson's Outlaw Musical Festival is set to return for a series of amphitheater shows across the United States this summer, commencing July 3 and concluding August 30. This iteration features a more concentrated schedule of 12 performances, a notable reduction from the 26 shows in 2024 and 36 in 2025. The tour begins at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, and wraps up at the Albany Med Health System at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, New York.
While Willie Nelson, 92, will be the sole artist present at all 12 dates, Bob Dylan will not be participating in this year's festival. Other featured artists include the Avett Brothers, Lukas Nelson, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, and Margo Price. Nelson expressed that with fewer appearances, each night holds greater significance for him and the fans.
Nelson is also preparing to release his latest solo album, 'Dream Chaser,' on May 29. The album features a track co-written with Bob Dylan. Meanwhile, Dylan is proceeding with his own separate summer amphitheater tour, which includes stops in Woodinville, Washington, Thackerville, Oklahoma, and Vienna, Virginia. Dylan's decision to pursue his own tour may be influenced by his preference for more controlled performance environments, where he has used stagecraft to obscure his face from the audience and restrict phone use.
