MFF & CO has acquired rights to William Ury's "Possible: How We Survive (and Thrive) in an Age of Conflict," planning a fictional series based on his negotiation expertise. The project will feature a fictional anthropologist and backchannel negotiator, delving into global conflict's stakes and personal consequences.
Executive producers Estela Renner and Marcos Nisti aim to translate Ury's "Path to Possible" principles into emotionally resonant storytelling. They believe stories can foster dialogue in polarized times, offering hope and expanding perceived possibilities.
William Ury, co-founder of the Harvard Program on Negotiation, will executive produce alongside Alexandre Chade. MFF & CO, originating from Brazil's Maria Farinha Filmes, is expanding its slate with projects like "Pegasus" and "Fail-Safe."
