Wildwood: Magic, Mayhem, and a Quest in Oregon Woods

Laika's new stop-motion film, "Wildwood," brings Colin Meloy's fantasy novel to life with stunning artistry. The story centers on Prue, a pragmatic girl from Portland, Oregon, who dismisses fairy tales until her baby brother is dramatically snatched by crows.

Driven by a desperate need to rescue her sibling, Prue ventures into the Impassable Wilderness, a place steeped in local folklore. This journey leads her to an extraordinary realm populated by sentient animals and a figure driven by grief to dark magic.

What begins as a personal rescue mission quickly escalates as Prue and a classmate are caught in a brewing war. The film delivers a fast-paced adventure, weaving together elements of magic, tragedy, and peril.
