The second installment of the "Wicked" film adaptation, titled "Wicked: For Good," has officially premiered in theaters nationwide starting November 21, 2025. This highly anticipated sequel picks up after Elphaba's dramatic escape from Oz, following her exile and ongoing struggle for the freedom of Oz's Animals.
The narrative explores the stark contrast between Elphaba's secluded life and Glinda's ascent to become Oz's glamorous symbol of goodness and popularity within Emerald City. Glinda, under Madame Morrible's guidance, serves to reassure the populace that all is well under The Wizard's rule.
While "Wicked: For Good" is exclusively in theaters, fans can revisit the beginning of the story. "Wicked: Part One" is currently available for streaming on Peacock. Based on the release of the first film, "Wicked: For Good" is expected to arrive on Peacock approximately four months after its theatrical debut.
