28 Feb
Summary
- When We Were Young Festival will not happen in 2026.
- The festival plans to return to Las Vegas in October 2027.
- Organizers stated they need time to ensure future events are special.
Organizers for the When We Were Young Festival have announced that the event will be canceled for 2026. The popular festival, which features bands from the Y2K era, has been a staple at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds from 2022 through 2025. Organizers cited a need to give the festival proper care and ensure future iterations are as special as those that came before.
Despite the pause in 2026, the festival is firmly scheduled to return to Las Vegas in October 2027. This decision comes after several successful years, including the 2025 event which saw headliners like Blink-182 and a reunion show by Panic! at the Disco. Organizers expressed gratitude to the festival-goers and emphasized that this break is merely a pause, not an end.
