Westbury Votes: Park Art Competition Nears Decision

Two nature-inspired art installations have emerged as finalists for Westbury's upcoming community garden in Penleigh Park. A collaborative effort involving local residents and a group of 9-11 year old schoolchildren has narrowed down the artistic entries. These finalists were chosen with the goal of creating a vibrant community space that harmoniously blends wildlife, personal wellbeing, and artistic expression. The town council is also planning biodiversity improvements for the park. Funding for this public art commission was secured through developer contributions coordinated by Wiltshire Council. The public is invited to cast their votes for the winning artwork over the coming week. Voting stations will be available at locations such as Westbury Library during its operating hours.
