The West Midlands is gearing up for a summer filled with vibrant LGBT+ Pride events, highlighting community inclusion and celebration. Birmingham's Pride event is currently underway, setting a festive tone for the season.
Throughout June, July, and August, various towns and cities will host their unique Pride celebrations. Wolverhampton Pride on June 6th promises music, food, and a funfair, while Bridgnorth Pride also on June 6th offers a parade and picnic. Bedworth Pride follows on June 7th with town centre festivities. Stoke-on-Trent Pride marks its 20th anniversary on June 20th, expecting over 100 organizations.
Later in the summer, Oswestry Pride takes place on June 27th. July sees Walsall Pride Picnic In The Park on July 26th, a free event with live music. August is particularly busy, with Stafford Pride, Solihull Pride, and Lichfield Pride all on August 8th (Lichfield continues to August 9th). Warwickshire Pride Festival is scheduled for August 22nd, and Walsall Pride Festival on August 29th.
The celebrations extend into September, with Pride Worcester on September 12th and Shrewsbury Pride concluding the season on the weekend of September 26th/27th. These events collectively showcase the region's commitment to LGBT+ inclusivity.
