Brunious, a scion of a musical dynasty, began his journey with the trumpet at age 11 and joined Preservation Hall at 23. By 28, he was leading a band for Kid Thomas Valentine, becoming the youngest bandleader in the Hall's history. He continues his dual roles as musical director and bandleader.
The performance will feature swinging rhythms and authentic Crescent City spirit. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the music running from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. General admission for adults is $15, with free entry for students and children, highlighting the Dew Drop's commitment to music education.
