"Wedding Crashers" Celebrates 20 Years with Theatrical Rerelease

In a nostalgic move, the 2006 hit comedy "Wedding Crashers" is returning to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The film, which starred Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn as two lifelong friends with a penchant for crashing weddings, will be screened in select theaters on December 4 and 11, 2025.

Directed by David Dobkin, "Wedding Crashers" follows the antics of John and Jeremy, played by Wilson and Vaughn respectively, as they navigate the world of wedding crashers. The two friends have a tradition of attending strangers' weddings to meet and hook up with vulnerable women. However, their rules are thrown out the window when John develops feelings for Claire, played by Rachel McAdams, and her wealthy family.

Audiences will be treated to 10 minutes of deleted scenes that were not included in the original theatrical release but were part of the home video version. The film, which also starred Bradley Cooper, Isla Fisher, Christopher Walken, and Will Ferrell, was a box office success, grossing over $288 million worldwide during the aughts era of studio-backed comedies.
