Webtoon Franchises Expand Globally with Warner Bros. Animation Partnership

In a significant move, Webtoon Entertainment has announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Animation to co-produce a slate of 10 fan-favorite Webtoon series for global distribution. The deal, which is a "significant expansion of Webtoon Entertainment's animation pipeline," will see projects selected from the company's Korean and English-language platforms, with development support from Webtoon Entertainment's US-based Webtoon Productions and Japanese IP business teams.
Separately, Webtoon Entertainment has also revealed the release date and guest star lineup for the second season of its popular series "It's Florida, Man" on HBO. The new season will feature appearances from renowned celebrities Tiffany Haddish, Taika Waititi, and Rita Ora.
