The 19th edition of the Waves Film Bazaar, India's flagship film market, is scheduled to take place from November 20 to 24, 2025, in Goa, on the sidelines of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The event's Co-Production Market will present a curated selection of 22 feature projects that embody a pan-global narrative, including stories in languages such as Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, and more.
The diverse lineup of projects comes from India, France, the UK, Canada, the USA, Russia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Selected filmmakers will have the chance to pitch their projects to international and Indian producers, distributors, festival programmers, financiers, and sales agents during the Open Pitch session. This will lay the groundwork for potential future collaborations.
In addition to the feature projects, the Co-Production Market will also showcase five documentary films spanning genres like arts, music, culture, environment, sustainability, and more. The lineup features acclaimed filmmakers and creators, including Kiran Rao, Vikramaditya Motwane, and BAFTA award-winning director Ben Crichton.
