Thirty-one years after its initial charity compilation, War Child has released HELP(2), a new album featuring a remarkable ensemble of musicians. This initiative aims to raise crucial funds for children living in war-torn countries. The project follows in the footsteps of the successful 1995 album, The Help Album, which gathered prominent artists to support children during the Bosnian war.
HELP(2) boasts a diverse range of talent, including Arctic Monkeys, Big Thief, and Olivia Rodrigo, with production helmed by James Ford. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the 24-track album showcases spontaneous and natural performances, even amidst challenging circumstances, such as producer James Ford's health issues. Proceeds from the compilation will directly benefit children affected by ongoing global crises.
