- Marie seeks answers about Godolkin's research and Cipher's motives

In the latest developments in The Boys universe, the hierarchy of power appears to be shifting. Last week, Marie (Jaz Sinclair) successfully escaped from Elmira with the help of her sister Annabeth (Keeya King) and their friends. However, they now find themselves on the run from the powerful Cipher (Hamish Linklater).
Seeking refuge in an abandoned library, the group faces a new threat in the form of Vikor (Tait Fletcher), sent by Cipher to retrieve Marie. In a surprising turn of events, ousted Vought International CEO Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) and his supe granddaughter Zoe Neumann (Olivia Morandin) arrive to help the group defeat Vikor.
Stan Edgar then makes a pitch to Marie, revealing more about Godolkin's research and motivations. Cate (Maddie Phillips) and Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh) also suggest that the body Cipher has been keeping might actually be Thomas Godolkin (Ethan Slater), who may still be alive. Determined to get answers and protect her friends, Marie sets out to take on Cipher, with Cate desperate to regain her own powers.
As the season finale approaches, the chessboard of the powerful has expanded, with Marie and Homelander revealed as the only surviving babies of The Odessa Project. While they share a similar origin, their upbringings and powers have set them on vastly different paths, with Marie adamant she is nothing like the sociopathic Homelander.
