The Natural History Museum is inviting the public worldwide to cast their vote for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year's Nuveen People's Choice Award. A selection of 24 extraordinary images has been curated, offering a glimpse into the planet's most captivating natural moments and the challenges wildlife faces.
These shortlisted photographs, chosen from over 60,000 entries, highlight incredible wildlife scenes. They range from a mother sloth protecting its young from rain and a bear finding shelter in a furnace, to a playful family of polar bears and a vibrant superpod of spinner dolphins.
Environmental issues are also depicted, such as a large pile of confiscated snares from Uganda. The public can vote online or at the Natural History Museum, with the winning photograph and four runners-up to be announced on March 25.
