VisionQuest Drops Major Daredevil Easter Egg

The latest installment of VisionQuest, airing on Disney+, has generated buzz among Marvel fans with a significant callback to the Daredevil series. Episode 3, titled "Reboot," features a dialogue exchange between villains Paladin and The Handler that directly references Daredevil's past confrontations. This moment, while a treat for dedicated viewers, also serves as a poignant reminder of the upcoming conclusion of Daredevil: Born Again.

The conversation between Paladin and The Handler includes a line alluding to Daredevil's classic "Hell's Kitchen" domain and a past encounter where Daredevil seemingly bested Paladin. Furthermore, the dialogue reveals that the formidable Ten Rings organization, previously seen in Shang-Chi, was responsible for supplying Paladin with his advanced Adamantium armor and weapons. This deepens the interconnectedness of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the reference is a welcome nod to the beloved hero, it amplifies the disappointment surrounding the cancellation of Daredevil: Born Again. Fans are eagerly anticipating the third season, which is confirmed to be its last, hoping it will provide a satisfying conclusion to Matt Murdock's journey. The season is expected to feature the reunion of The Defenders, following Jessica Jones's return.
