Filmmaker Begs Singer to Un-retire

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has appealed to singer Arijit Singh to retract his recent retirement from playback singing, deeming the decision "unfair" and "unacceptable." Bhardwaj shared a video of their collaboration for a song in the upcoming film 'O' Romeo,' expressing his dismay. The film, starring Shahid Kapoor, is scheduled for a February 13 release.

Singh had earlier announced his departure from playback singing via social media, thanking fans for their love and calling it a "wonderful journey." Bhardwaj, who has previously worked on several projects with Singh, stated he was unaware of the singer's plans until recently. The filmmaker's plea highlights the significant impact Singh has had on the music industry and the surprise felt by collaborators.
