Virgin River Season 7: Mel & Jack's New Chapter Begins

Virgin River Season 7 is set to explore a new phase for newlyweds Mel and Jack Sheridan. The recently released trailer teases the start of a new chapter for the couple, who are expecting a baby. However, their hopes for a peaceful married life are complicated when the birth mother seeking adoption requests more time.

Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith indicates the season will delve into the "honeymoon phase" for Mel and Jack as they build their lives on the farm, acknowledging that this period can present its own unique difficulties. The synopsis also reveals other storylines for the upcoming season.

Beyond Mel and Jack's journey, Lizzie and Denny are preparing to welcome their first child. Kaia contemplates settling down with Preacher, Brie reconnects with Brady, and Hope and Doc navigate their own personal challenges. Additionally, the couple is slated to embark on a honeymoon.

Season seven will also introduce several new characters to the Virgin River community. Among them is Victoria, an ex-cop played by Sara Canning, who encounters an old friend. Cody Kearsley joins as Clay, arriving in Virgin River in search of his sister. Austin Nichols is also set to appear as a character from Mel's past.
