He had announced the San Francisco show the night before on Instagram, planning to play from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. However, after only 35 minutes, the San Francisco Police Department intervened. Young indicated on Instagram that the presence of a helicopter signaled the event's imminent shutdown.
Young previously performed in the Bay Area in 2025, playing in a tunnel at the Marin Headlands. His artistic approach focuses on reclaiming and utilizing public spaces for music, offering a unique alternative to traditional concert hall performances.
