Vinyl Revival: Record Show Draws Enthusiasts to Library

Last Saturday, the Daviess County Public Library transformed into a haven for vinyl aficionados during its third annual record show. The event saw a strong turnout, with many attendees arriving before the doors opened, eager to expand their collections. Vendors, such as Clint Douglas from Evansville, Indiana, reported steady traffic throughout the day.

The variety of music available catered to diverse tastes, with shoppers seeking out genres ranging from heavy metal and classic rock to pop and jazz. Attendees like Kayedon Mattingly and Dennis Evans expressed satisfaction with the selection, finding desired albums from their favorite eras.

This year's show also highlighted the library's newly renovated second-floor programming and meeting space. This area, intended for both library programs and community events, provided a modern and welcoming venue for the bustling record show.
