NBA Star's Summer Romance Reignites on Martha's Vineyard

Amazon MGM Studios is developing a new romantic drama titled Vineyard Haven. The film centers on two teenagers who shared an unforgettable summer romance on Martha's Vineyard. Despite their hopes to reunite in following summers, their paths never cross again until nearly a decade later.

In the present timeline, the male protagonist has achieved stardom as an NBA player but returns to Martha's Vineyard to recover from an injury. Simultaneously, the female protagonist has returned to her hometown, seeking solace after a challenging marriage. The story explores their unexpected reunion and the lingering echoes of their past summer.

Nkechi Okoro Carroll, known for her work on All American, is writing the script and executive producing. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Michael McGrath are producing the feature for Berlanti Schechter Films. The project adds to Berlanti Schechter Films' slate of upcoming productions.
