Vin Diesel Teases Fast & Furious Next Chapter

Vin Diesel has unveiled a new Super Bowl commercial, generating buzz for the Fast & Furious franchise and its expansion into theme park attractions.

The advertisement features Diesel promoting the upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood. This new ride draws inspiration from the blockbuster film series, with riders experiencing high-speed racing in spinning cars that mirror those from the movies. The commercial also confirms that the highly anticipated roller coaster is scheduled to welcome its first riders this summer.

Further fueling anticipation, Universal Pictures recently announced that the next film in the Fast franchise, titled Fast Forever, is scheduled for release on March 17, 2028. This marks the longest hiatus in the series' history since its debut in 2001. Diesel shared his thoughts on the legacy of the franchise, noting its defining impact and its enduring nature.

Diesel's involvement with Universal attractions is not new; he previously lent his likeness to the Fast & Furious: Supercharged simulator experiences at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida. These attractions are being replaced by new roller coaster versions of Hollywood Drift, with the Orlando resort also planning its own iteration.
