He expressed a clear preference for roles that diverge significantly from his previous character, who was known for being righteous and talkative with a Haryanvi accent.

Kumeria is particularly interested in intense and brooding characters, those who communicate more through actions than words. He desires to embody individuals with hidden depths and an element of mystery, even open to altering his appearance for such roles. While he remains open to various genres like comedy or morally grey characters, his wish is for something that challenges him and offers a unique narrative.

Addressing the evolution of television content amidst OTT platforms, Kumeria believes there are still opportunities for fresh stories and characters. He noted that the industry is experimenting, though not all attempts are successful. However, he firmly stated his refusal to accept projects that offer predictable, run-of-the-mill narratives, prioritizing distinctive characters and compelling storylines for his return to the screen.
