The title and first look of Puri Jagannadh's upcoming film starring Vijay Sethupathi, titled 'Slum Dog', were unveiled on January 16, 2026, coinciding with Sethupathi's birthday. The poster depicts Sethupathi in a raw, unkempt persona, hinting at the film's intense narrative.
Currently in post-production, 'Slum Dog' is a joint production by Puri Connects and JB Motion Pictures. Principal photography concluded after shooting commenced in July of the previous year, with major action sequences completed by October. The film features Samyuktha in a pivotal role, alongside Tabu and Duniya Vijay Kumar.
Composed by National Award-winning musician Harshavardhan Rameshwar, 'Slum Dog' is planned for a wide pan-India release across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
