Bigg Boss Tamil Host Vijay Sethupathi Struggles to Rein in Unruly Contestants

Vijay Sethupathi has been hosting Bigg Boss Tamil for the past two seasons, taking over from Kamal Haasan. While his first season as the host in 2025 was a hit, the current Bigg Boss Tamil 9 season has been marred by constant noise, mudslinging, and violent behavior from the contestants.

Sethupathi's approach as the host has come under scrutiny, as he has failed to effectively address and curb the contestants' misconduct. Despite repeatedly warning and calling out the problematic behavior of certain contestants, such as Kamrudin, Sethupathi has not taken strong disciplinary action, like issuing yellow cards or red cards as his predecessor Kamal Haasan had done in previous seasons.
