According to the latest box office reports, the Kollywood romantic comedy drama Thalaivan Thalaivii, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen, has wrapped up its theatrical run after exceeding expectations. The film was released on July 25, 2025 and received mixed reviews from critics, but found favor with the audience, helping it make good earnings and emerge as a commercial success.
As per the final collection figures, Thalaivan Thalaivii earned a net of 59.36 crore at the Indian box office, translating to a gross of 70.04 crore after adjusting for GST. Overseas, the film ended its run at 18 crore gross. Combining the domestic and international numbers, the worldwide box office collection stands at 88.04 crore gross.
While the film had a shot at the prestigious 100 crore milestone, it fell short by a few crores. Nonetheless, it managed to secure a hit verdict, as the 59.36 crore net earnings represented a healthy return on investment of 137.4% against its 25 crore budget.
