Vietnamese Model Shines After Dramatic Runway Fall

On November 12, 2025, a Vietnamese model named Hoa experienced a shocking fall during the Opening Night of Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025. Hoa, who had won Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 competition just a month earlier, was walking the runway to close the show for designer Ha Linh Thu when she slipped on a small flight of stairs.

However, Hoa's recovery from the incident is what has captured the attention of social media. Instead of panicking or rushing off the runway, she effortlessly struck a chic and sexy pose while sitting on the steps. Hoa then stood back up and continued her catwalk as if nothing had happened, earning applause and cheers from the audience.

Hoa later shared a video of the fall on her social media, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and the lessons she had learned from her time on Vietnam's Next Top Model. Supermodel Naomi Campbell also praised Hoa's performance, commenting "Beautiful" on the model's post.

Hoa has had an accomplished modeling career, winning Face of Vietnam in 2023 and representing her country at the Face of Asia 2023 competition, where she reached the final Top 10. She has also walked in several fashion shows during previous Vietnam International Fashion Weeks.
