Bloom later worked at Fox and Disney before joining CBS in 2013, where he led business development and helped implement the network's proprietary visual production platform.
In 2017, Bloom received an Emmy nomination for his work on the Stranger Things VR video game. His colleagues described him as a "true renaissance man" who was passionate about a wide range of interests, from astronomy and stock trading to artificial intelligence and outdoor sports.
