The actor had undergone a kidney transplant just 3 months prior, but unfortunately, his health took a turn for the worse. As news of his passing spread, many of Satish Shah's friends and colleagues from the industry expressed their grief. Satish Shah's close friend and frequent co-star, Anupam Kher, was visibly emotional upon hearing the news. Kher, who is currently in Switzerland, shared a video expressing his sorrow over losing not just Satish, but also two other industry veterans in the span of just 3 days. The actor fondly recalled their warm exchanges, saying "Aise thodi na hota hai? Aise nahi jana hota hai."
Satish Shah's funeral is scheduled to take place on October 26, 2025 at the Pawan Hans cremation ground in Mumbai. The loss of this beloved comedic talent has left a void in the hearts of his fans and the entire Bollywood community.
