Chiklis, who also has a 25-year-old daughter named Odessa, adds that he is always looking forward to what's next rather than dwelling on the past.
The actor admits that while the idea of becoming a grandparent is a little "freakish" and "scary," it is also "thrilling and exciting." Chiklis jokingly shares that the impending arrival of his grandchild has "broken him open like an egg," causing him to cry in the shower and while walking down the street. He can't wait to hold and cuddle the baby, something he misses now that his own daughters are grown.
