Director Anil Ravipudi's upcoming film, starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyanram, is seeing significant developments in its casting. Reports indicate that Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty are being considered for the female lead roles.
Industry insiders suggest Krithi Shetty will be paired with Kalyanram, a fresh on-screen pairing. Concurrently, Keerthy Suresh is rumored to be in talks for the role opposite Venkatesh. While not officially confirmed, her finalization is anticipated soon.
This project signifies a reunion between Kalyanram and director Ravipudi after their 2014 film 'Pataas'. It also marks the fifth film collaboration between Venkatesh and Ravipudi, a director-actor duo with a track record of commercial success.
The film is slated to begin production in June. The initial shooting schedule is expected to feature Venkatesh alongside Keerthy Suresh. This phase will commence after Venkatesh concludes his current project, 'Aadarsha Kutumbam', directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
Anil Ravipudi's most recent directorial venture, 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu' (2026), starring Chiranjeevi, featured an extended cameo by Venkatesh. That film, which also starred Nayanthara and Catherine Tresa, was a box office success during Sankranti despite stiff competition, achieving the highest collections of Chiranjeevi's career.
