The much-awaited fifth collaboration between actor Venkatesh Daggubati and director Anil Ravipudi was officially launched with a grand puja ceremony in Hyderabad. This event also confirmed Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty as the leading ladies, paired with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram, respectively.
The film, tentatively titled VenkyAnil5, is being planned for a major Sankranthi 2027 release. This project signifies a significant reunion, as it marks the fifth film for Venkatesh and Ravipudi, who have previously delivered successful hits like F2 and F3. It also reunites Ravipudi with Kalyan Ram, following their earlier work on Ravipudi's debut film, Pataas.
Regular shooting for the film is scheduled to commence on June 22. The project is backed by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, in association with Suresh Productions and Zee Studios. While story details remain undisclosed, the combined track record of the cast and crew has already generated considerable excitement among fans.
In parallel, Venkatesh is also involved in a family entertainer directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Anil Ravipudi's recent directorial, which featured Venkatesh in a cameo, was a commercial success during the Sankranthi season this year.
