Downtown Vegas NYE: Cheaper Tickets, Big Stars

Downtown Las Vegas is preparing for its annual New Year's Eve celebration, "Countdown Under The Canopy," at the Fremont Street Experience. This year's event features a substantial price reduction, with early bird tickets priced at $35, a 42% decrease compared to the $60 offered for the previous year's celebration. Ticket prices will increase closer to the date, reaching $50 by December 24.

The celebration, themed "All In. All Night.," will host 10 musical acts across four stages. Headlining the event are early 2000s rock bands Hoobastank and Alien Ant Farm. The lineup also includes hip-hop artists, electronic performers, and local talent, ensuring a diverse musical experience for attendees.

This year's event will be restricted to guests aged 21 and older, with gates opening at 7 p.m. on December 31, 2026. Organizers have not publicly stated a reason for the ticket price reduction, but speculation suggests it aims to boost attendance and benefit surrounding businesses through increased foot traffic and sales.
