Varun and Janhvi's Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Surges at Box Office

As of October 3rd, 2025, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is enjoying a good run at the box office. The film, directed by Shashank Khaitan, earned around 6-7 crores on its second day, a regular working Friday, which saw a natural drop from the Dussehra/Gandhi Jayanti holiday the previous day.

Despite the competition from Kantara Chapter 1 and Jolly LLB 3, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has managed to hold its ground well, witnessing only a 30-40% drop from its opening day. The total box office collection after two days is expected to be in the range of 16.11-17.11 crores.

Interestingly, the film has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of as many as 4 Bollywood releases from 2025, including The Bhootnii (12.52 crores), Crazxy (14.03 crores), Mere Husband Ki Biwi (12.25 crores), and Badass Ravikumar (13.78 crores). The positive word-of-mouth suggests that Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is poised to beat the opening weekend collections of other recent romantic releases like Metro In Dino.
