Varma's Hitler post sparks Yash 'Toxic' rumors

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has drawn considerable attention for his recent social media activity, which many interpret as indirect commentary on the performance of the recently released film 'Toxic,' starring Yash. Varma's posts, shared on his X account, have led to widespread speculation that he is alluding to the reported box office struggles of 'Toxic.'

In his latest post, Varma drew a parallel between Adolf Hitler's ambition after invading Poland and his belief in becoming the "biggest superstar." He suggested Hitler's actions were driven by a desire to become an "international @rajinikanth," leading to an "all-out attack on the world." Varma, however, maintained that there was "no hidden meaning" in his statement.

This is not the first time Varma has commented on the film. Previously, he had shared a lengthy post arguing that 'Dhurandhar,' a film he was involved with, respected audience intelligence, while 'Toxic' did not. The film 'Toxic,' directed by Geetu Mohandas, was released on August 26, 2026, and has since faced mixed reviews alongside reports of declining box office numbers.
