In just a few days, on October 29, 2025, Variety will host its annual Power of Women: Los Angeles event, celebrating the achievements of influential women in the entertainment industry. The event, held in partnership with Lifetime, will feature a star-studded lineup of presenters, including Academy Award-winning actress and activist Jane Fonda, who will present to honoree Wanda Sykes.
Other presenters include Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer, who will present to honoree Kate Hudson, and award-winning actress, producer, director, and activist Eva Longoria, who will present to honoree Nicole Scherzinger. Additionally, Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Melanie Griffith will present to honoree Jamie Lee Curtis, while Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Sharon Stone will present to honoree Sydney Sweeney.
The event will also honor World Champion gymnast and activist Aly Raisman with the Variety Courage Award, presented by Purina, in recognition of her powerful advocacy and leadership on behalf of survivors of abuse. World Champion gymnast Jordan Chiles will present the award to Raisman.
