UTA's Ali Benmohamed Joins Strand Entertainment in Management Pivot

The movie, which is currently in production in New Jersey, follows the story of a new coach tasked with rebuilding the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team after a tragic plane crash in 1980, ultimately leading them to victory at the 1984 Olympics.

Directing the project is Andrés Baiz, a filmmaker known for his work on acclaimed shows like 'Griselda' and 'Narcos'. Baiz is helming the film from a script co-written by Oscar nominees Andrea Berloff and John Gatins, along with Andy Weiss. The production is a collaborative effort between several production companies, including Grand Electric, Night Owl, and A Move Films Production.
