Pawan Kalyan's Film Faces Box Office Disappointment
21 Mar
Summary
- Film earned less than 10 crore on its second day.
- Initial 30 crore collection dropped drastically on day two.
- Budget of 150 crore requires 150 crore net to break even.

Pawan Kalyan's highly anticipated film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, has encountered a severe box office challenge just two days after its release. The movie's second-day collections plummeted to under 10 crore, a stark contrast to its opening day performance.
Despite an initial earning of over 30 crore net on its first day, attributed to the Ugadi holiday and Pawan Kalyan's significant fan following, the film's momentum waned considerably. This sharp decline indicates a less-than-favorable audience reception.
With a substantial production budget reportedly set at 150 crore, Ustaad Bhagat Singh needs to achieve a net collection of 150 crore to be considered a commercial success. As of its second day, the film has garnered 44 crore net, recovering approximately 29.33% of its investment.
Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features an ensemble cast including Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna. The current box office performance raises concerns about Pawan Kalyan potentially facing a significant career setback if the film fails to meet its financial targets.
