Actress Urvashi Upadhyay is making a comeback to television in the upcoming series 'Mann AtiSundar,' taking on the role of Indrani. This character is described as sharp and manipulative, and her entry is expected to create significant disruption within the show's existing culinary competition narrative.

For Upadhyay, embodying Indrani presented a substantial acting challenge, especially following her nearly two-and-a-half-year portrayal of the warm-hearted Kusum in 'Mangal Lakshmi.' She described the shift as akin to changing skins, requiring her to shed Kusum's established mannerisms and emotions to fully inhabit Indrani's sly, satirical, and conspiratorial nature, driven by a desire for her daughter's success.
