The next major PlayStation 5 exclusive will be the horror title Until Dawn 2, scheduled for release on January 28, 2027. This highly anticipated game represents a significant departure from recent Marvel-themed exclusives on the console.
Developed by Firesprite and AdHoc Studio, Until Dawn 2 will feature a standalone narrative that is independent of the original game, though it will include some references. The game focuses on a group of ghost hunters investigating a tropical resort, where their search for paranormal activity uncovers genuine supernatural threats.
Player choices will be central to the gameplay, determining the fate of characters in this narrative-driven horror adventure. The developers emphasize that, similar to its predecessor, no character is guaranteed to survive. The game is also expected to contain significant drama and gore, as hinted by its trailer.
Until Dawn 2 builds on the legacy of its acclaimed predecessor and the success of Firesprite's Horizon Call of the Mountain and AdHoc Studio's Dispatch. Its release will offer PlayStation 5 owners a fresh, suspenseful experience.
