Unmadham Box Office: Kunchacko Boban's film plummets
4 Aug
Summary
- Unmadham box office collections dropped over 50% on Monday.
- The film earned 33 lakh on its fourth day, falling short.
- Unmadham's Monday earnings were 81.14% less than Officer On Duty.
Kunchacko Boban's mystery crime thriller, Unmadham, has experienced a significant downturn at the Indian box office. The film's performance on its first Monday, day four of release, showed a steep decline of over 50% from its opening day collections. This drop resulted in earnings of just 33 lakh on Monday, failing to meet the expected benchmarks for a successful run.
Overall, Unmadham has accumulated approximately 2.6 crore net in its initial four days. This figure falls considerably short of expectations, especially when compared to Kunchacko Boban's earlier film, Officer On Duty, which garnered 1.75 crore on its first Monday. The stark difference highlights the current film's struggles amidst mixed audience reception.
Directed by Kiran Das, Unmadham also features Lijomol Jose and Siddique. The film, which had its theatrical release on July 31st, is now facing an uphill battle to improve its box office trajectory in the coming week.
