Universal's New Kids Resort: A Toddler's Dream

Universal Kids Resort, a new amusement park tailored for families with young children, has opened its doors in Frisco, Texas. Located approximately 26 miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, the resort features a 300-room hotel and an amusement park.

The park includes themed lands such as DreamWorks' Shrek's Swamp and Illumination's Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club. It is specifically designed for children aged 3-8, offering numerous splash pads, playgrounds, and sensory areas. The resort also includes two family roller coasters: the Jurassic World-themed Cretaceous Coaster and Rhonda's TrollsFest Express.

Hotel accommodations offer rooms with bunk beds, and the Curiosity Café serves as the primary dining option. On-site amenities include a large pool suitable for younger children, complete with life vests and underwater music. The park provides unique experiences like the Troll-ify Me! makeover, which features waterproof face paint, and interactive shows.

Visitors are advised to bring sun protection and a change of clothes due to the Texas heat and abundant water features. Ticket prices start at $54.99 for a 1-day general admission. The resort aims to provide an engaging and fun environment for its target audience.
