2 Oct
Summary
- Queer, underdog slo pitch softball team and their determined coach
- Team faces strikeouts, petty rivalries, and fundraising mishaps
- Coach Joanne Pico aims to turn things around after being dumped by ex-girlfriend

In the world of beer league sports, a queer, underdog slo pitch softball team, the Public Lass Brovaries, is gearing up for a dramatic season. Their coach, Joanne Pico, is determined to lead the six-time league losers to victory, despite just being brutally dumped by her girlfriend and co-founder of the team.
Throughout the summer, Joanne guides her lovable, chaotic crew through a season filled with strikeouts, petty rivalries, conservative-politician sponsors, and sexy carwash fundraisers gone wrong. With her ex-girlfriend now playing on a rival team, Joanne has a lot to prove this season. It's time for her to win the breakup, get the gang back together, and maybe even find new love over beers in the dugout.
The 10-episode series, which is set to premiere on CTV and Crave in Canada, comes from the creators of the popular web series of the same name that previously aired on OutTV and IFC. The show features a talented ensemble cast, including Karen Knox, Gwenlyn Cumyn, Emma Hunter, and Chelsea Muirhead, among others, as well as a guest appearance from women's softball legend Ayami Sato.
