Summary

- The property is famous for being Uncle Bryn's home in the show.
- Gavin and Stacey filming locations attract tourists to Barry.
A piece of Gavin and Stacey history is now available for purchase as the house belonging to the character Uncle Bryn has gone on the market. Situated on Trinity Street in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, the property is listed at £210,000. This location served as Bryn's home, including the bedroom featured as his state-of-the-art gym.
The house is opposite Gwen's home and was the setting for memorable scenes, such as Bryn "surfing the world wide web" to provide directions. It also hosted the famous Christmas dinner for over 13 people in the 2019 special. The property is described as needing modernization but presents a significant investment opportunity.
This sale follows the recent purchase of Doris's house across the street in November 2025, which included original furniture from the show. The ongoing popularity of Gavin and Stacey has significantly boosted tourism in Barry, with organized bus tours visiting various filming locations. Agents note that while the asking price was slightly increased due to its fame, it remains realistic for the area.
