UK SNL Mocks Comedian Shane Gillis's Monologue

Comedian Shane Gillis recently became the subject of criticism on the British version of Saturday Night Live. During the "Weekend Update" segment of SNL U.K., comedian Ania Magliano addressed Gillis's remarks made during his October 10 monologue on the American SNL. Gillis's initial monologue, which focused on women's gym attire and included offensive language, had previously sparked backlash.

Magliano's commentary specifically targeted Gillis's jokes about women's workout clothing, drawing parallels to a story about Oktoberfest. She also humorously pointed out Gillis's accidental use of the F-word during a sketch on the American show. The U.K. broadcast featured an uncensored explicit insult directed at Gillis, amplifying the discussion surrounding his recent television appearances and controversial statements.
