Melbourne, Australia – UNIFIED Artist Management (UAM) has announced a significant expansion with the addition of Maddy Smith and David Zietsman to its team, effective Thursday, January 29, 2026. Both bring their curated artist rosters, including prominent acts such as Cat & Calmell, Ben Gerrans, Sixten, and Benjamin.
Smith brings over a decade of experience in artist and label management, with a background working with acclaimed artists. Zietsman contributes expertise in artist management, A&R, and bookings, taking on a dual role across UAM and the distribution platform Community Music. This move is expected to enhance UAM's integrated approach for artists.
Ash Hills, UAM general manager, expressed enthusiasm for the new hires, highlighting their extensive experience and success in nurturing emerging talent. He noted that artists like Cat & Calmell are currently promoting their 'Live Laugh Cool Star' EP globally and supporting Renee Rapp, while Ben Gerrans is actively releasing new music and touring internationally following his 'Primrose' EP.
These new additions bolster UAM's existing roster, which includes well-known Australian artists like Wade Forster, Vance Joy, Ocean Alley, and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers. The management team and its artists recently celebrated a strong showing with eight tracks featured in triple j's Hottest 100 countdown.
