Banks' legal team presented comparison videos, one focusing on contestant Shandi Sullivan's story. The docuseries appeared to show Banks unable to recall Sullivan's alleged assault, but Banks argues that omitted footage reveals she did remember the story. Another video contrasts the documentary's portrayal of a cheating discussion with the original 2004 recording.

These videos, according to Banks, prove her lawsuit is about the alteration of meaning, not airtime. Netflix maintains that the filmmakers fairly presented her perspective. A hearing is scheduled for October 30 to consider Netflix's motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
