- This lawsuit adds to Tyga's history of legal disputes over payments.
Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, known as Tyga, is currently facing a lawsuit filed by Beijing Tongxing Wanxin Catering Management, demanding $135,000.
The management company alleges that Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, committed fraud and breached his contract by failing to appear for two scheduled performances at Club Pac Star in Beijing. These appearances were initially set for August 4 and October 27, 2023.
According to the lawsuit, the management company was informed that Tyga would reschedule a performance in 2024, but this did not materialize. While the company received a $10,000 refund as part of a settlement, they are still seeking the remaining $145,000 owed, plus punitive damages.
This legal challenge is not Tyga's first. In 2023, he was sued for $1.3 million regarding missed payments for luxury vehicles. Previously, in 2019, he faced a lawsuit for over $441,000 for luxury car payments, and in 2018, a concert promoter sued him for $141,000 over no-show performances in the UAE, a case that was later settled.
